“Atmospheric Coastal Town with Gothic Flair”

Whitby has a rugged, moody charm. From the ruined abbey on the cliff to the narrow streets and old harbour, it's full of atmosphere. It's great for fish and chips, sea views and browsing little shops. There's a gothic feel here that makes it stand out from other coastal towns - even if the weather rolls in, it sort of adds to the vibe.
