Is Stevenage in Hertfordshire worth a visit?

★☆☆☆☆ Not at all – There's really nothing here for visitors

1.0 average from 1 review

One of the UK's first post-war New Towns, with spacious parks, modern shopping, and fast trains to London. Known for its cycleways and mid-century planning.

Stevenage has wide roads, roundabouts and functional buildings. It was built for efficiency, not beauty - and it shows. There are shops, parks and cycle paths, but not a lot to photograph or linger over.
