Is Shotton in Flintshire worth a visit?

★☆☆☆☆ Not at all – There's really nothing here for visitors

An industrial town in Deeside with good transport links and a strong local identity, close to the English border.

Shotton is mostly a strip of shops, garages and supermarkets. It's not somewhere you'd go out of your way to visit - more a place you pass through without realising. Even locals will tell you there's not much to do.
