Perranporth has a beautiful beach, a lot of shops, and inviting beach bars, including The Summer House, which has a terrace offering a stunning view of the beach. We had a great meal there. I had Gucci fries, which were essentially posh, dirty fries smothered with delicious toppings.

After our meal and drinks, we took a quick walk on the beach. We then strolled around the town, taking in the sights, including a lovely boating lake surrounded by beautiful gardens.

There is quite a lot of parking, but my tip is to park in the car park on the way into town belonging to the rugby club. It has a pay-by-app scheme running, it is cheaper than the other car parks in town and always pretty empty.
